A convenient hotel, very close to the city centre

Hotel Pagi is conveniently close to the city centre attractions, shops and restaurants with the Rokin underground station straight opposite, there are also canal trips opposite the hotel. The hotel is a traditional Amsterdam building so expect a narrow staircase. The hotel has signs of wear and tear but we found our family room to be perfectly functional, clean and tidy with plenty of clean towels. We were greeted daily by friendly staff who were all helpful and kind to the children. We were fortunate to get a room overlooking the street and loved hearing the sounds of the tram and Church bells and hustle and bustle of the city. We would stay at Hotel Pagi again, thank you for a great weekend!

Amazing location for a hotel, right in the city centre and close to all attractions! Rooms are small but are decorated lovely and kept warm throughout the day and night. Big shower in the bathroom and lovely staff to help you out when needed! Highly recommend this hotel if you are a couple or looking for somewhere close to the city!

Loved the stay at pagi only problem I had was sliding down the middle of the bed in certain positions Great location and staff were very helpful and friendly I would be more than happy to return there and will hopefully be back next year ———————

Hotel is nicely in the centre of the city with brilliant connections just a small walk away. The rooms are a bit small but this was expected from the photos, and although our window faced a brick wall this wasn’t an issue as we spent the majority of our days exploring the city. The bathroom was well decorated and was perfect for our use. Receptionists were very polite and helped us when we asked questions about the city and the hotel itself which was a great benefit to our trip. The only thing to be made aware is the travel tax that is paid when checking in, but it wasn’t a bank breaker. Overall for 3 lads this hotel was a perfect base for us to chill when we needed a moment to relax.

Avoid this hotel at all cost. The photos on booking.com are completely inaccurate. We booked two rooms and they were both tiny, lacking light, windows facing a brick wall, and not cleaned properly. The bathroom in one room smelled so much it was unusable. The stairs are tiny and super steep. Good luck hoisting luggage up to your room. I would strongly recommend that you keep looking. This is not great and the photos are completely misleading.
